I KNEW RIGHT AWAY - loved up wedding in Piemonte

We found each other by chance – in early spring of last year I had an inquiry in my inbox by Francesca for her and her fiancé Paolo’s wedding in early September. Just a few minutes into our first call it was clear to all of us that we were a perfect match. They had this open-minded and relaxed vibe about them, telling me about what really mattered to them on their wedding day was sharing it with everyone they loved. Their vision of their day was so clear in that, that it took only minutes for them to make me understand as well.

So, September came, I packed up my car and took a road trip down South. Down to Lake Garda, towards Milan and further down south until I reached the lovely province of Pavia. They both got ready in the same house on different floors, assisted by their families and close friends.

Just the look on Paolo’s face when he first laid eyes on his future wife walking towards him in church, truly took my breath away. There’s that kind of joy that you cannot really put into words, but you can certainly explain with a picture. Her face when she saw him told me exactly what she was feeling in that moment – that she was walking towards her future.

The celebrations took place at a fantastic estate a bit further north, Prime Alture. We got there just in time to soak in the last rays of sunshine before it disappeared and a warm late summer night kicked of the festivities. I feel lucky being able to witness unions like this one, feeling the honest joy of every single guest over the love and partnership of bride and groom. Francesca and Paolo are the literal symbol of pure love, and a partnership built on honesty and trust.

I enjoyed myself so much and I’m glad to have met such kind souls. May our path cross again in the future!
